Membership in Silverdale Lutheran Church

You are welcome to become a member of Silverdale Lutheran Church. Membership in this congregation is through baptism, confirmation, or reaffirmation of faith or a letter of transfer from another Lutheran congregation.

You may become members by attending the Roots of Our Faith Class, where the fundamentals of the Christian faith and the Lutheran Church are reviewed, and the meaning of a living relationship with Jesus Christ is stressed.

These informal classes are offered at least twice yearly, each lasting about six weeks. Attendance at the class involves no obligation to join the congregation. Please contact the church office or one of the pastors for more information.

All members of Silverdale Lutheran are ministers; their areas of ministry include church office work, custodian, organist, choir director, Sunday School teachers and superintendents, ushers, altar care, committee members, and various other tasks that help keep the congregation running smoothly... and there's a place waiting just for you!
