The children of our community were welcomed at SLC August 15 - 19, and “Into the Promised Land” was how it happened. Your pastors were a tangible and humorous presence to the over 70 kids who attended. Our heartfelt thanks to the nearly 30+ volunteers who helped make the week a success. Be sure to see the bulletin board in the Fellowship Hall-you’ll see lots of smiling faces! Thanks to our members who generously donated items for snacks and rounded up shoe boxes for us to use (they became dulcimers!); it was really a village coming together! Thank you, also for generous VBS donations of $280 which will be sent to the ELCA Horn of Africa Drought Relief collection.
