“Dos Mundos” - One Mission (Two Worlds – One Mission) Do you want to be more spiritually connected? What is life like for our brothers and sisters in Guatemala? What can we learn from their Christian Faith? How can connection with our Guatemalan brothers and sisters strengthen our Church and Mission? Rubber boots, flashlight and of course a bible. Some of the tools needed to be a pastor in Guatemala. The Iglesia Luterana Agustina de Guatemala brings the gifts of God all the way to God’s people. Sometimes that means walking down into a steep Guatemala City ravine, other times getting into a boat and then hiking into a rural village of returned refugees. Wherever we are called to go we bring hope in Christ to our brothers and sisters who yearn to hear the Word. Rev. Amanda Olson de Castillo, ILAG, pastor and missionary, will share about the Lutheran Church in Guatemala as well as some of the tools needed to be Christ’s Church in Guatemala. She will share how mission is mutual when we walk together in mutual growth, prayer, and faith led by God. |

March 4th Sunday Session Three: 9:40-10:40 a.m. “Mutual Mission” What is mission? Is it converting people to a different religion? Is it traveling to another country or county to pound nails or paint houses? Is it teaching bible school? Is it seeing one another and being present to and with one another? Who is called to be a missionary? |
