We want you to go on the Family Winter Retreat!!

We have several spots available still.  It is March 9-11.
The cost is $79, which includes 2 nights lodging, roasting marshmallows at the fire pit on Friday night, 3 meals Saturday, and 2 meals Sunday.  HOWEVER, if cost is a problem for you, you can pay what you can. It is going to a wonderful weekend of skiing [if you want], sledding, campfires, games, laughter and fellowship.  Please, help us fill up the weekend. ~ 3:00p – Memorial Service for Harold Larson at Silverdale Lutheran.

~ 10:45a –  Manna Bible Study

~ 12:00p – Hearty Meals

~ 6:00p – Lenten Soup Supper

~ 6:45p  - Lent Service


Upcoming dates to remember:

2/29 – First evening of our Lenten Soup Suppers.  Please consider bringing or donating a soup for dinner & fellowship (sign up is in the Narthex) and are each Weds. thru Holy Week.  We begin at 6:00p with the Lenten Service starting at 6:45p- last just a half hour.  Choir will start promptly at 7:30p

2/24 -26 – Women’s Retreat @ St Andrew’s House

3/3 & 4:  Lay School of Theology with Pastor Amanda Olson-Castillo.  Please RSVP so that we can plan appropriately.  We will be taking registrations this Sunday between services in the Fellowship Hall.

3/4 :  KFC Bowling!!
The Kids For Christ [3rd -6th graders] will go bowling on Sunday, March 4 from 1-3.  Meet at the church.  Cost will be around $5, more if you want to buy food when you are there.   We need a couple of drivers with military stickers who can help get kids on base.  If other adults want to come, you just need to bring a photo ID.  Sign up on the youth board if you can attend.  Family and friends are always welcome.

3/17:  Don’t Miss it!!  The Men’s Prayer Group – Spring Program, Saturday, March 17th @9:00am.  Join us for a really great breakfast, served to you by Cowboy Chris Love and his boy wranglers, followed by a real sagebrush campfire jamboree, courtesy of the Lutheran Men’s Quartette.  Call Darcy or Kathy Thayer to “sign up” for this Last Roundup!!

3/18:  SLC Annual Youth Auction to support our Sr High Youth attending the National Youth Gathering in July.  Please make your table reservations this Sunday; invite your friends & neighbors; and if you have an item to donate to the auction, please contact Pastor Jonathan or Tim Knapp!
