We are embarking on some major facility maintenance projects such as a roof replacement ($60,000) of the Sanctuary/main building, boiler replacement ($13,000), painting of both buildings ($27,000), and other needed repairs.  On June 12, 2011, a special congregational meeting was held, and we unanimously voted in favor of moving forward with these projects.  This vote also authorized the SLC council to obtain a loan of up to a $100,000 to fund these repairs/maintenance.  We are asking members to go “above and beyond” your current financial support of SLC’s ministries and help through either immediate donations or pledges to help fund these needed projects.
